The doors of our facilities opened almost 20 years ago and we were one of the Wichita's first nursing centers. Our leadership role in the community and being locally owned drives our goal to provide quality while taking pride in the care that our residents receive.
We pride ourselves in the warm and loving atmosphere that is provided by our staff. Our staff also includes our resident pets. We have Jack and Gordon our resident dogs along with Charlie and Sammy our cats. Providing a secure and home-like environment is very important to us.
Admissions are done on a daily basis and are based on the center's ability to provide individualized nursing care. We do not discriminate against sex, race, handicap, religion or national origin.
Sandpiper Bay is a provider of Medicare and Medicaid services. Whether it is short-term convalescent care and rehabilitation or long-term nursing care, Sandpiper has a program to suit your needs.
